The doctors at KFMP keep their medical skills and knowledge up to date by regular review of the relevant literature, attendance at evening and on-site lectures. We are all registered with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners Quality Assurance Program and attend college endorsed events, conferences and online education activities.
To ensure we meet objective third party endorsement of our clinical skills and practice policies and procedures, we undergo regular Practice Accreditation with an external assessor. This happens every three years. We are proud to have accrued over 15 years of uninterrupted first pass accreditation.
The Practice Mangers focus is the creation of a productive and enjoyable environment, by facilitating strong relationships between the KFMP team members and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
Our Practice Nurses are specialists in the provision of General Practice nursing services. They help provide childhood immunisations and well-baby / child checks. They are proficient in wound dressings, emergency nursing and support for procedures (e.g. skin cancer excisions) and also a wide range of travel vaccinations.
They are well connected with local community services and can facilitate referrals to Southcare and Veterans programs for blood pressure machines, pressure stockings and continence pads.
Our nurses have expertise in doing Home Health Assessments for patients over 75 years of age, with a view to identifying illness and social issues before they become problematic.
Our Administrative Team are there to make it easy for you to book appointments, communicate between you and the doctors and to ensure that your Medicare and other payments are processed efficiently and effectively.
