Spela is a student at the University of Wollongong’s Graduate Medicine. She is in her third year of study and will be spending from 24 July 2023 to 31 May 2024 with Kirrawee Family Medical Practice. Spela will be involved in all facets of the practice.

Previously Spela has studied a Bachelor of European Studies and a Master in Human Rights.

Spela has more than 14 years of professional experience in human rights and sustainability and has held roles in senior management as well as various other supporting roles within the industry.

Professionally Spela has interests in women’s health, paediatrics, surgery, emergency medicine, neurology, and mental health. While training in medicine Spela is passionate about furthering her understanding of diversity, indigenous health, health literacy and ensuring there is equity in accessing quality health care.

When not studying Spela enjoys medical humanities, corporate responsibilities, and photography.
