Dr Gemma Urch is specialist General Practitioner. She aims to provide thorough, evidence-based care with a focus on patient health goals, preventing illness and promoting wellbeing.
Dr Urch studied Medicine at Deakin University in Victoria, and had the benefit of working in a wide variety of placements in Rural General Practice, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Paediatrics and Emergency Medicine in Victoria, NSW and Queensland. Dr Urch completed her General Practice training in Sydney, and became part of KFMP family in 2021.
Dr Urch’s interests include Women’s Health, Antenatal Shared Care, Child Health, Multiple Sclerosis and LGBTIA+ Health. She has some experience providing gender affirming care and works with endocrinologists, surgeons, psychologists and psychiatrists to support gender diverse people all their health care needs.
She values being part of a strong group practice and providing high-quality care to patients throughout all stages of their lives. As part of her commitment to this, is involved in training future specialist General Practitioners.
