Dr Kym Bowman graduated with a Doctor of Medicine from Western Sydney University in 2018, following a prior degree in Exercise and Sport Science and several years of experience as an exercise physiologist.
She completed her internship and residency at The Sutherland and St George Hospitals, then undertook a senior residency year in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Campbelltown and Sutherland Hospitals. During this time, she developed a strong interest in women’s health, including the insertion and management of contraceptive implants.
Dr Bowman also completed the Sydney Children’s Hospital Program, further enhancing her expertise in paediatric care and the management of children's health.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her young children and extended family.
