Ryan completed his Doctor of Medicine at The University of Sydney and is currently working towards a Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. Prior to Kirrawee Family Medical Practice he worked in a range of specialties at Campbelltown, Bankstown and Royal Prince Alfred Hospitals and later at Earlwood General Practice.
Ryan grew up in the Riverina in country NSW and travelled a long path into medicine which has given him broad life experience and areas of interest. As a former professional Rugby League player, passionate amateur cyclist, Crossfitter and generally active person he has a particular interest in Sports Medicine, exercise and fitness. His love of Paediatric Medicine and empathy for the challenges of parenting unwell children has only grown since having two daughters of his own. More recently he has developed a particular interest in Men’s Health, tackling often difficult to discuss matters with a non-judgemental approach.
Ryan prides himself on developing partnerships with patients and taking the time to understand their problems and clearly explain the solution. He is eager to meet a new patient base in The Shire and help them navigate the complex healthcare system to achieve the best outcomes for them and their families.
Please note; no doctors at KFMP will prescribe drugs of addiction to new patients
