Dr Zoe Burns graduated from the University of Newcastle and completed her General Practitioner training in Townsville. During this time, she worked in a variety of medical and surgical specialties, rural and Indigenous communities, urban GP and sports medicine. She has also completed a Diploma of Child Health.
 
Dr Zoe enjoys the challenge and variety that General Practice provides and strives to deliver patient centered, evidence-based care to patients at all ages and stages of life.
 
Dr Zoe has special interests in sports and musculoskeletal medicine and Veteran's health and caring for their families.
 
She has worked in sports medicine and rugby league since 2018 and is the Cronulla Sharks NRL Women's Chief Medical Officer. Through this experience Dr Zoe is comfortable with concussion and contact sport related injuries across all ages. However, she welcomes patients of all ages and levels of activities (not just athletes!) with musculoskeletal concerns.
 
Having served over fifteen years in the Australian Defence Force, Dr Zoe appreciates the challenges that face current and ex-serving members and their families.
